Laboratory Studies in Support of Venus Exploration: Surface and Near-Surface

Laboratory experiments are crucial adjuncts to NASA’s spacecraft exploration program, especially for Venus, where the atmosphere composition and surface conditions difficult to survive or to model. The Decadal Survey can help advance Venus science by continuing its past support for laboratory experimental and analytical studies.
