Summary of the Mars Science Goals, Objectives, Investigations, and Priorities
The MEPAG Goals Document captures the Mars community’s science priorities. Mars is the easiest accessed place where life beyond Earth may have originated. Mars teaches us not just about one planet, but terrestrial planets as a class. Vigorous exploration of Mars should proceed using mission at all classes, including those smaller than Discovery.
