Current Activity on the Martian Surface: A Key Subject for Future Exploration
One of the fundamental discoveries in Mars science in the last decade has been the extent and importance of current surface activity. Understanding current surface processes is a fundamental science question, and it is also an essential step for reading Mars’ geologic history and providing input to climate models.
