An Exploration Strategy for Europa
Europa is a highly compelling target for planetary science and astrobiology. We recommend that Europa Clipper be followed by a Europa Lander mission to be started in the decade covered by this survey. Later missions should include a melt probe or subsurface access mission to directly study Europa’s ocean.
