In Situ Exploration of Venus’ Clouds by Dynamic Soaring

In situ scientific exploration of Venus’ clouds is a means to understand the conditions of a habitable niche in the Solar system. Fixed wing aircraft, without propulsion, can harvest vertical shear and remain aloft indefinitely, within Venus’ clouds. Direct sampling instruments can be deployed at multiple locations in Venus’ clouds.
