Military Work by Space Exploration Organizations: A Barrier to Inclusion and Safe Workspaces for Marginalized Communities
The military-industrial complex’s (MIC’s) extensive history of targeting BIPOC globally may negatively impact marginalized people working in space science labs with ties to the MIC. We recommend studying the impact of these relationships on DEI in space science and we call for full transparency regarding space science ties to MIC-related work.
