Who is missing in planetary Science?: A demographic study of the planetary science workforce
In order to identify trends in underrepresentation in planetary science and inform diversity initiatives for the next decade, we conducted a demographic analysis of the field. Results indicate that women, American Indian/Alaskan Natives, Latinx/Hispanics, and Black/African Americans are significantly underrepresented in planetary science.
