NASA’s Space Launch System: Capabilities for Ultra-High C3 Missions
NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) vehicle offers unique enhancing and enabling capabilities for a variety of missions, including planetary science, planetary defense and astrobiology. Adding commercially available stages increases the C3 performance potential of SLS to enable greater mission capture for the outer planets and beyond.
