The Search for Consistent Transition Region Signatures Associated with Coronal Heating

Using large, many-step IRIS rasters in Si IV 1393.78Å, we have explored the statistics of transition region spectra in and out of hot loop footpoints, and against various transition region proxies of coronal heating. We present evidence of repeatable blue shifts and broadenings correlating positively with these heating proxies.
