Saturn’s Young Rings II: Origin of Saturn’s Obliquity and Rings
Our new determination of the moment of inertia of Saturn leads us to propose a new scenario for the origin of Saturn’s obliquity and rings. We make extensive use of n-body simulations of the tidally evolving satellite system.
