The white paper summarizes the current state of different historically marginalized groups in the AGU SPA section including NTF’s progress in significantly enhancing the nomination of these groups for AGU honors and awards, the best practices and challenges faced by NTF, and recommendations for improving the nomination process for different societies, agencies, and universities/institutions.
