Observatory for Heteroscale Magnetosphere-Ionosphere Coupling (OHMIC) is a moderate four-spacecraft mission combining high-time-resolution plasma and fields measurements in the auroral acceleration region with high-resolution local and global auroral imaging to determine the processes by which electromagnetic energy is converted into kinetic energy of charged particles in a collisionless plasma.
