Observations for Improving SEP Forecasts and Warnings

This paper demonstrates the importance of having near-real-time low corona CME observations, 0.05 to 0.4 nm solar flare emission, low frequency radio emissions, relativistic electron intensities from L4, and high-quality energetic proton measurements from the SEL line and L4. The availability of these data in near-real-time can increase SEP warning times and improve SEP predictions.
