Magnetoseismology in a New Era of Magnetospheric Research
Magnetoseismology consists of field line resonance sounding and travel time inversion, two unconventional methods of investigating the plasma mass density and impulsive phenomena in the magnetosphere. This white paper summarizes major outstanding science questions and technical hurdles in magnetoseismology, and recommends strategies in observations, modeling, and data analysis approaches.
