COSMO ChroMag: The Chromosphere and Prominence Magnetometer
We discuss the Chromosphere and Prominence Magnetometer (ChroMag) of the Coronal Solar Magnetism Observatory. ChroMag will provide the community with synoptic observations of magnetic field in the chromosphere that are currently unavailable yet critical to many outstanding questions about the processes that operate on both short and long timescales in the outer solar atmosphere.
