Geostationary Far Ultraviolet Imager for Space Weather Information and Science

Far Ultraviolet (FUV) remote sensing is a critical tool for providing data that is essential for advances in thermosphere-ionosphere (T-I) science. FUV remote sensing from geostationary Earth orbit benefits both space physics/heliophysics basic research and space weather research/application. Capabilities for both will be enhanced by hosting FUV imagers in separated, geostationary orbits.
