Magnetic Reconnection Science in the Outer Heliosphere
We propose an investigation on magnetic reconnection and its importance in understanding the dynamics and structure of the boundary regions of the outer heliosphere, where the heliosphere interacts with the local interstellar medium. Now is the time to launch an Interstellar Probe with modern instrumentation to address this objective and many others in the Heliophysics of the outer heliosphere.
