Supporting Common Space Mission Needs — An Integrated View To Enhance NASA’s Science Missions
The paper recommends that the Decadal Survey recognize common resource demands and process challenges and recommend that these resources and challenges be managed across the Agency with greater specificity that currently. These include PuO2 for missions needing RPS and DSN downlink capacity. In addition, new processes are needed to guide the development of long duration missions.
