A uniquely fundamental question will drive science innovations and discoveries in the coming decades: What research environment and community will we build? The most innovative scientific ideas and discoveries develop in safe, inclusive, diverse, accessible, and collaborative environments. If we ignore this critical aspect, current issues regarding diversity, retention, & succession will persist.
