Mentorship within Heliophysics
In this paper, we discuss mentoring, and how it can help minority and underrepresented groups navigate the systemic issues which inhibit many from fully participating in the scientific endeavor. We are not able to cover the whole topic of mentorship, its benefits, and best practices. However, we hope that this paper will inspire agencies to implement more structured mentorship programs.
