Developing standards, metrics, and systematic approaches for improved model performance verification and validation
Model verification and validation (MVV) are critical to ensure that our models and simulations are reliable and correct. The need for applications that inform decision making is rising every year, and along with it, the need for MVV and clear frameworks to enable research-to-applications-to-research (R2A2R) within and beyond the heliophysics community.
