Coordinating Science Between NASA Space-Based Missions and NSF Facilities
The funding structures of NSF and NASA create a situation where coordinated measurements from NSF large facilities and NASA missions is excessively challenging. This paper discusses how coordinated measurements are critical for system science, and explains why the issue is challenging.
