Science for all: The case for Citizen Science in all NASA missions
Heliophysics has a strong history of benefiting from citizen science that dates back to the 18th century & continues. However, we have only scratched the surface. With sustained funding & strategic leadership from NASA & NSF, crowdsourced science can help return further scientific gains in conjunction with satellite mission opportunities while keeping science accessible to the general public.
