The Future of Space Weather Prediction and Forecasting
This white paper is based on recommendations developed after the Chapman Conference on Scientific Challenges Pertaining to Space Weather Forecasting Including Extremes (2019). Continuously available low latency observations relevant to space weather prediction have not advanced to a significant degree. The complexity of space weather requires developing new approaches to predictive modeling.
