Role and Opportunity of Solar and Space Physics Summer Schools to Change Culture

Summer schools to support the academic and professional development of students and early career (SEC) scientists. We call for a more intentional effort to share best practices, scaffold curriculum, rigorously assess impact, to integrate inclusive and active teaching techniques into their programs, focus on developing ethical, open science-supporting, and DEIA-competent SEC.
