Continuous Global Far Ultraviolet Auroral and Thermospheric Imagery from a Highly Elliptical Orbit

Continuous Global Auroral Imaging provides key forecasting information for space weather events and their effect on technology and infrastructure. This includes geomagnetically induced currents in power grids, spacecraft surface charging, and satellite drag. With two spacecraft per hemisphere in a highly elliptical Tundra orbit we can provide high resolution auroral and thermospheric imagery.
