CATSCaNS: Co-Axial Tomography of the Solar Corona and Near Sun environment

CATSCaNS is a mission concept that seeks to revolutionize our understanding of CMES by resolving the internal structure of CMEs with tomographic imaging taken from multiple deep space small sats. Advances in miniature coronagraphs and other instruments as well as advances in small sat laser communications systems make this concept eminently feasible in the coming decade.
