Next-generation meteor radar networks for MLT science

Networks of meteor radars provide unique measurements that are necessary for advancing science of the mesosphere-lower thermosphere (MLT) region in the coming decade. We recommend deploying next-generation meteor radar networks to observe MLT wind fields and meteoric input over large regions with dense spatiotemporal sampling where scientifically necessary to achieve Decadal survey goals.
