The Importance of Synoptic Solar Radio Observations
We discuss the results of the long-term monitoring of solar radio fluxes and the importance of maintaining this record. The long history informs our understanding of the solar activity cycle and the physics of the solar atmosphere, and is increasingly important for understanding the context and likely impact of stellar activity on exoplanets.
