Overview of analytic approaches to model schedule, cost and risk of x-ray optics manufacturing
In this short talk, the basic queuing theory based approach to manufacturing modeling will be introduced. We will focus specifically on the most recent results, the effects of finite server lifetime and development of a spares plan and the impact of building the assembly line.
