Can you imagine what the cosmos above would look like if we all had superhuman vision? Immerse yourself in awe-inspiring images of nebulas, galaxies and supernova explosions taken from cities and observatories around the world. Learn about the Big Bang and actual evidence revealing where we all came from.

This presentation is the culmination of over 1,000 person-hours of effort in 4 years, and involved working with astrophotographers and scientists from several observatories around the world.

Speaker Biography

Tom Vassos (BES, MBA) has devoted thousands of hours researching his lifelong passions – astronomy, astrophysics and space exploration. Mr. Vassos is an astronomer, university instructor, member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and author of the book The Ultimate Guided Tour of the Universe. Mr. Vassos is a science communicator that is frequently invited as a guest expert on radio and television. He is the Astronomer-in-Residence for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and delights in imparting his knowledge to space enthusiasts, young minds and lifelong learners everywhere.
