Looking at the influence of planetarium usage on Astro 101 students’ attitudes about class

My Astro 101 course is held inside our planetarium. As expected, I have plenty of anecdotal stories of students enjoying use of the planetarium during classroom instruction. This past semester I made a study over three different class periods to see if there was a measurable difference in attitude about the lecture between classes that experienced planetarium usage and a class that didn’t. Results will be presented.
