Presentation #337.05 in the session Pulsating Variable Stars.
To better understand the pulsation cycles of variable stars, we are using the ARC 3.5-m Telescope to observe using spectroscopy in the infrared. We will be presenting on V2445 CYgni (V2455 Cyg) which is a Delta Scuti star with a short enough period that we have been able to collect data throughout the space of an entire period. Past photometric research completed by students at our university has allowed us to detect the period with accuracy, and through analysis we can detect changes in spectral lines and luminosity of the star.
