Presentation #406.03 in the session Blazars, Quasars, and AGN.
The Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) has observed more than 10 blazars during its prime mission phase. These blazars span a wide range of spectral properties, in particular the frequency of peak synchrotron emission. The results from these blazars are all consistent with the same physical processes operating, although there have been several unexpected and unique results identified in the IXPE data. In this talk we will summarize these results and discuss the general physical picture for X-ray generation in blazars and AGN jets.
