Presentation #108.04 in the session Instrumentation and Data Center Posters.
In this poster we discuss the DKIST Data Center Portal, one of the main tools for searching, filtering, and downloading DKIST data and technologies such as Globus which is used for file transfer.
The DKIST Data Center has created a web portal which is one of the two principal methods by which users can select, filter, and download data. The other method is the Python based DKIST User Tools which is the subject of a talk by Stuart Mumford at this meeting. The portal provides both general and specific capabilities that allow Principal Investigators and the general user community to find datasets of interest. In addition to the Level 1 DKIST data, the Data Center also provides Quality Reports, ASDF files describing the metadata in a data set, and browse products all intended to make the process of selecting DKIST data for download easier. In this presentation we give an overview of the portal. In addition, we discuss other aspects of the Data Center designed to help users best exploit DKIST data for their science research.
