Update of the Orbits of the Regular Uranian Satellites and the Gravitational Field of the Uranian System

Jacobson et al. (2014 AJ 148, 76) determined the orbits of the Uranian satellites, the masses of Uranus and its satellites, and the orientation of the pole of Uranus from Earth-based astrometry (1911-2013), Earth-based ring occultations (1980-1992), and observations acquired with the Voyager spacecraft (1985-1986). Subsequent to that publication several observers have obtained new astrometry, and some of the original astrometry has been re-reduced against the GAIA star catalog. Moreover, R. G. French et al. (to be submitted to Icarus) recently made a new determination the orbits of the Uranian rings, the orientation of the Uranian pole, and the gravity harmonics of Uranus from the ring occultations over the period 1977-2006. In this paper we report on the results of an analysis that redetermined the Uranus and satellite masses, satellite orbits, and Voyager trajectory. We processed all of the data from our previous work plus the new and re-reduced astrometry. We extended our data arc forward to 2016 and backward to 1847 (the time frame of the discovery of Ariel and Umbriel). We adopted the Uranus pole and gravity harmonics from French et al. as we found that our analysis could not significantly improve upon them.
