Presentation #104.16 in the session ISM/Galaxies - Poster Session.
We describe the X-ray properties of the UltraLuminous X-ray source in the southern, nearly-face-on spiral galaxy NGC 6744. This ULX is much less known than other ULXs but does appear in the Walton et al. 2022 catalog as 2SXPS J191002.3-645004 or catalog number 1623. The earliest X-ray detection of the object occurred with Einstein X-ray telescope. We describe two observations obtained with Chandra in 2015 and 2018 as well as merged observations with Swift’s XRT.
