The Decadal Survey for Solar and Space Physics (Heliophysics) 2024–2033 will present a prioritized strategy of basic and applied research to advance scientific understanding of the Sun, Sun-Earth connections and the origins of space weather, the Sun’s interactions with other bodies in the solar system, the interplanetary medium, and the interstellar medium. The Decadal Survey will also assess the health and vitality of the profession.
Members of the scientific community submitted 450 whitepapers in support of this process. This issue of the Bulletin of the AAS contains the 427 whitepapers whose authors opted into publication. While the 427 BAAS whitepapers are indexed here for completeness, we strongly recommend that you use this NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS) public library to explore them. The ADS library includes information about the whitepapers that were not published in this issue.
